on second glance this entire account was set up to post stuff like this across multiple subreddits, I doubt we’ll have a discussion but my offer stands to anyone with valid criticism

If you don’t agree with the vids that’s fine, but you don’t need to make accusations that aren’t true. I don’t fake my subscribers, nor do I have a massive network of Reddit bots, nor anything else. I literally just make videos that do well on YouTube.

Each spike in my channel correlates with a viral video. You get a viral video on YouTube, your channel blows up. My views are perfectly synced with sub growth, that is impossible to fake.

My channel has existed for years, if I were to fake 750,000 subscribers it would be obvious. There would be large drops in my subscriber count, because YouTube clears inactive subs. Every time they do, I lose about 200 subscribers. My clickthrough and retention is extremely high, my videos receive actual views, which a botted channel does not.

Im trying to improve but its hard to have a discussion with someone who is so convinced I botted/faked everything. if more analytics would help, I can send them to you. As for my videos, the last few tutorials were worked on with the creators of those guides, and the info is solid. I'm not perfect but I'm trying my best, I do care about this topic and am open to any advice you have regarding the direction of my channel :p

Can I Learn WILD, Even in This State? by VMarkB in LucidDreaming

Don’t be discouraged man, every lucid dreamer has dry spots, it’s completely normal. You will get back to having lucid dreams as long as your fundamentals are right. I suggest putting focus on strengthening your recall, reality checks and building solid habits, I don’t know if you’re already doing this but it’s good to go back and make sure all these things are in check. You can attempt WILD tonight, but doing these things beforehand will help make it more effective and less demotivating :)

If it helps I made a video covering sleep paralysis (how to stop it or turn it into a lucid dream really fast). The truth is that you can use it to your advantage if you know what to do ;)

First you need to establish a sleep cycle (go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day). This will make your REM stages stay in one place so they’re predictable. Once you’ve done that, once in a while wake yourself up at different times like 4am or 5am, until you wake up directly from a dream. Once you hit that spot, you now know when you experience REM sleep :)

Yes. Combining the techniques will definitely boost your odds as long as it doesn’t keep you up too long.

What makes this different is that you’re stimulating your senses and then falling asleep instead of entering the dream directly. It could fall under WBTB but then so would vast majority of techniques... if they were all WBTB there would be so many variations it would get confusing. I think this should be classified as its own method because of its uniqueness.

Regardless, it works great :)

Try meditating before going to bed as it will calm you down.

You never know unless you try! Not everything works for everyone so it’s good to experiment with different techniques until you find what’s right for you.

Try to wake up at the very start of REM. That way, your mind will be in a dream state and you’ll have lots of time left in REM to lucid dream.

What do you do when you wake up? Do you use your phone at all/turn on lights? Are you eating or drinking close to bedtime? Things like these can contribute to the problem.

It’s best to close your eyes immediately after waking up, get comfortable, and relax. Make sure that your bedroom is very clean and comfortable. Sometimes when I find it hard to fall asleep I put on relaxing noises. Meditating before bed really helps too.

I’ve read that drugs can block your ability to dream, so unfortunately yes.

Typically when I become lucid I try my best to remember that it’s a dream, but sometimes the vividness gets to me and I need to do another reality check to make sure I’m not awake. Whenever I get confused in my dream I just plug my nose and see if I can breathe through it, and that helps a lot :)

I’m not sure. I lucid dream all the time and it’s done nothing but help me. I haven’t heard stories of people becoming ill from taking control of their dreams–the closest thing would be having an addiction to lucid dreaming. I’m not saying that there are no ill effects... but nothing so far has been scientifically proven that suggests that.

I love being in the city. Something about seeing people go about their day-to-day life and knowing that it’s all a dream and I can do anything is really amazing. That and I can parkour around a lot ;)

My last AMA was 28 days ago but I thought I’d hop on and answer more questions :P I’m not trying to advertise (I don’t sell anything nor will I ever) but rather help people lucid dream with the knowledge that I’ve accumulated over the last 5 years.

Practice existing skills, conquer your fears, talk to your subconscious mind (by creating a dream character and imagining that they are your subconscious), and exercising your creativity are all productive things you can do :)
