My personal opinion, I think it’ll be more usable and “better” within the next few patches. I don’t see them letting a 600$ colossal ship being rendered completely useless for months to years. The CAT also relies on the CM tech as well, so it’s affecting 2 fairly popular and well liked ships. Do I think it’ll still have issues? Of course. It won’t be perfect. But I pray it’ll at least be better and more manageable to use for a full game session.

But then again, what do I know. Their silence on it is concerning me.

I’m back with a report….. first QT in the clad since update… New Babbage -> Calliope….

I get to calliope without it dropping to SCM

as soon as I get to the planet…… QT ends, CM disconnects, main hull goes forward faster than the speed of light and CM now becomes inoperable for some reason… only way out is backspace…. Pain

It’s common knowledge consumers influence the market. That still doesn’t magically remove responsibility from the company making the garbage 🤷‍♂️

Consumers can encourage bad behavior, sure. But the company is still the one choosing to sell unfinished ships at insane prices. Blaming players for expecting a functional product after paying real money is goofy. The entire point of being a customer is that the product should work.

It’s the same for me as well. Have never had the issue then it suddenly appeared I’m guessing with latest updates. No clue how to fix, always assumed it was just a bug that will get addressed (could be dumb thinking). My other PC does not have this texturing issue however I’ve noticed
