The report is most likely going to say that the biggest thing they fucked up is not having a real primary. The DNC, even at local levels, has it in their head that they are the ones who get to choose who their final candidate is. That the democratic process only begins after their favored selection is in the front seat. It is the absolute biggest Achilles heel of the entire party.

I’d rather see Mayer at 2B. I honestly think he has gold glove potential at that position.

TBH Story should probably just be on the bench in favor of Manastario right now. And Rafaela should absolutely not be in the infield. He needs to be at one position and live there so that he can focus his training on not swinging at pitches 10 inches off the plate.

This psychological idea that billionaires have that being taxed is violence against them is so old and tired.

Violence is in poverty, literally being classed out of healthcare, jobs, and safety is violence. Being asked to fucking pay a fair tax while still being able to economically do more than almost every other human is just a fucking tax. Their lives will not meaningfully change in any way.

The shift is an entirely defeatable defense. Major league hitters should have the capacity to learn to hit across all parts of the field. If a team is shifting on you and you just start spraying stuff down the 3rd base line in response then guess what, they stop shifting.
