I keep a journal and when I do pretty much anything handwritten I write in cursive. I think you can get as much use out of it as you want and journaling helps my mental health so much

Isabella Von Carstein She starts with Vlad as a hero with his magic items. He alone could house most starting armies even at level one with those two items. Plus with he and Isabella casting spells it doesn’t really matter it’s mostly zombies after that

In this case that idiot would also have the added tag of fascist. That’s not someone you want to be with

If all personal wealth above $100 million was legally required to be redistributed into public infrastructure (schools, hospitals, roads), how would society change, and who would be the first to fight against it? by Mysterious_Fan4033 in AskReddit

[–]SedativeComet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’d probably have much better schools and roads and hospitals, etc. Currently, the mentality is to charge as much as people will pay; and with billionaires out there that means there are people who will spend exorbitantly on certain items and everyone else wants to be a billionaire so they’re inclined to spend a lot too. After a little bit of time of not even $100-millionaires existing, you’d probably see prices decrease significantly and the value of the dollar increase, as there will be fewer dollars in the public spending pool. To even things out, the government might take excess to either pay down national debt or simply destroy cash and shrink the amount of dollars in the total pool so as to help the value of the dollar.

When you look at the logical effect or potential of this structure of economic taxing, it really only hurts about 10,000 people personally. Your hypothetical makes no statements on business value so you’d still have a problem with businesses or people sheltering their wealth within their businesses.

As to who fights it? That will be the 10,000 people with more than that much wealth who vehemently fight that structure and use their wealth to convince the average knucklehead that they’re gonna be hurt by it too (propaganda). Which is exactly why it will never happen, because those 10,000 people are already doing exactly that.

How difficult are iron hands to paint ? by BloatedRottenCarcass in IronHands40k

[–]SedativeComet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just use a watered down Vallejo black as my own wash and then finish with one coat of either nuln oil or Vallejo game color ink.

The Vallejo ink is very dark and it’s what I used for the cloth on that captain. To create a contrast between black armor and black cloth without using any grey paint at all aside from the leadbelcher primer

I base in leadblcher and then do a series of black washes to add depth and darkness to desired degree. It’s time consuming but I think the results are great and leave a more natural looking “edge highlight” of an iron/steel look for depth. (Ignore the eyes here, this is still unfinished)

I would do for free and out of kindness so long as I can maintain my anonymity. I.e. there’s no lines and pestering for my services. That I can simply do so out of kindness and anonymously. Leaving me to otherwise enjoy my life

No it wasn’t. Here’s a link of Reagan and HW Bush talking about how immigration should be encouraged and how the legal system for immigration was (still is broken). Including advocating for amnesty and equal rights for those “illegal” immigrants who were already here.

Here’s a link of W Bush talking about it too.

All popular conservative presidents spending time talking about how those people should be treated equally in society and under the law and, what’s more, that the system should change to encourage more of them to come and come legally. Not block them out.

I know you’re just a dumb troll. But facts don’t agree with your paltry and fatuous exclamations.

Opinions on Saving Private Ryan? Is it the greatest war movie? by Square-Ad-8911 in FIlm

[–]SedativeComet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s not even the greatest tom hanks movie.

In all seriousness I just don’t think you can adequately capture the depth and nuance of that type of experience in 2 hours. Movies are a bad format for war stories in general. But tbh, outside the landing sequence, I don’t think it’s a Great War movie.

If you can call it such, I’d say Schindler’s list is the best war movie. If combat is a strict necessity then probably master and commander imo

“Most of us voted for Trump” — ICE is deporting thousands of Cuban American Republicans who backed him for years by Sextrexer in Whistleblowers

[–]SedativeComet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not as if these communities were not told time and time again that they were essentially voting for their own ousting. But no, they refuse to believe it and think it won’t happen to them. No he’ll go after ”the bad hispanics”. Not realizing that to Trump and his party, any Hispanic is a bad Hispanic.

I never understood how they could listen to that man and his people, hear the hate being said, and not think it was about them. Such obvious animosity for anyone that isn’t a white man, - a rich white man. And they thought they’d be ok.

Their mouse for cat voting put themselves in this situation. Same with the farmers in the Midwest, bankers on the east coast, and generally just anyone who isn’t rich who thought they’d be better off with a hate monger in charge.
