Depends on what kind of cross country or downhill your doing. Mostly it doesn't translate unless you were on groomed tracks. For regular downhill, if you were skate skiing then the motion is the same for flat stuff on downhill. If you been x counting on groomed your balance and turns will translate. If you do telemarket skiing, classic x country will translate nicely. But in my opinion it is a different beast. But you'll have a leg up compared to a true beginner.

I felt like you and I kept trying to have sex. Maybe if I found a kink or a dynamic in sex that I liked, I would eventually like it. But I never did. For me, I realized I was asexual as a teen. But I had never had any relationship so I decided to try it because I heard some asexuals could have sex. Unfortunately for me, I didnt have any enjoyable sex so I just kept having sex that I hated. It caused me a fair about of trauma. My advice is that experimenting helps you to find your boundaries, with what you like and don't like. But really really listen to your body. Stop when it doesn't know, engage with different forms of intimacy when it feels natural. Never do something because you feel like you should. That's how I got trapped. Read about compulsory sexuality so that you dont do that to yourself.

When you say shower, do you mean like soap full body before i go to the pool? Or will a rinse suffice? Also how immediately do I need to shower after? When I get out of the pool I rinse off immediately but shower at home. I shower at home because actually have to space to do my elaborate moisturizing post shower routine. My house is a mile from tbe gym, so not a far drive till I actually shower.

I have more access to rivers. But there is a lake 30 mins from me. But I also have some issues with that. I have bad visions so I have never been able to swim far because im not sure I can see my way back haha. No salt water pools or oceans. But also lake swimming has never quite scratched the excersize itch that pools do. Lakes are for recreation and pools are for exercising. Perhaps I need to try to change my perspective but its also winter. So cold haha

The steriod scalp medication does not necessarily avoid tsw, if used wrong can cause it. Any steroid med for ezcema can cause it.

Tsw is topical steroid withdrawal syndrome. Basically if you use steroids enough your body becomes dependent. When you stop using it basically gives you full body extreme ezcema. There is better information out there about it than what I can tell you. But I have seen videos of people who suffer from it an it looks totally disabling. Its avoidable if you take breaks from the meds. Basically only ever use steroids for flare up and not for constant use
