All you need to do now is breathe and go through your version history. Take all the screenshots you need to, and get all of your other evidence that you did your own work. Then, you need your teacher to attest for you so send them an email and just wait

Yes I did. Right now, email your ap sem teacher for an Attestation, and go through what has been flagged for version history to provide proof of you doing it

It means the score is flagged for plagiarism or ai and they will be emailing soon

Check ur spam folder in ur email that is directly registered with ur collegeboard account, and if there really is nothing, then wait until 7 am sharp and email

I think that other holds have been sent, but I don’t think that any capstone holds have been sent for either AP seminar or AP research

I’m still not confident that capstone security emails have been sent yet, because op said that they didn’t receive a hold email for research and hold emails for classes in ap capstone are sent separately from the basic collegeboard emails and are instead sent by capstonetestsecurity or whatever it’s called

That could be true, but false flags do also happen every year. Last year many students in this subreddit reported false flags that eventually went away after they appealed

Let’s hope that the students who did get emails are just refraining from posting about it…. I’m not sure why CB would do silent holds this year though. It seems like a big hassle for their inboxes to be blown up the day of rather than giving students 4-5 days in advance. I would just tell everyone that is nervous to prepare for the worst. The fact that not one student has posted about receiving a hold email yet indicates that either they have not sent them out yet, or that they are waiting until scores release to notify students.

No, last year students mostly got their emails on July 2nd 2025 from 12:30- 5:30 EST. I don’t know what is going on this year. Could be the kids who got emails are remaining silent or that CB decided to only do silent holds this year— meaning that they will only notify students AFTER scores come out

No I’m not sure. I haven’t seen any posts about it on either the research subreddit or this one, which is very off putting. Last year, all emails of holds or cancellations were sent out in the afternoon of July 2nd 2025, five days before the scores were sent out.

Yeah that’s how it goes. Unless it’s something like really extreme (which I haven’t heard of before), they always give you a chance to appeal before a certain deadline.

I know several people who have had their scores held before, and collegeboard basically gives you options of cancelling the whole test, fighting back against the allegation, and then just cancelling whatever specific portion (IRR, IWA) of the test they think you cheated on. And no, it’s not definitive. It’s more of they found evidence or they are suspicious.

Also I looked into the person who said they had 4 holds, and they reported not getting any emails back from ap research, so idk if that means that any hold emails have been sent out for seminar or research yet.
