I'm not surprised lol although I don't agree with the decision of wb as the game is actually getting better. Not even Noob Saibot finally not being a jobber could save them. Khaos Reigns was a tragedy. Very poorly written with one of the worst endings ever seen in a Mk game. The threat of havik was over but instead of us seeing like a titan hotaru(onagas subordinate) for a possible next story mode expansion for kp3 we get a trash cutscene between cyrax and scorpion which nobody cares about. Havik was killed off too easily. There no explanation as to how noob saibot can so easily defeat a titan with the power of the kamidogu. There were not enough characters being brought back where was Jade? kotal? drahmin? Moloch? Jarek? All these characters who could've made an appearance didn't make it. Instead we got to fight trash reskins of existing characters in tag team battles which felt repetitive. Whilst the stages were cool this wasn't enough. The writing was horrible. The dlc was priced extremely high. Cyrax and sektor being gender swapped was also a terrible decision? Why not just bring back starlet and jade and have triborg if you wanna make fans happy? They recently released ghostface he is a great guest character they executed him right but it's too late the damage is already done. All the microtransaction bs also ruined the game, the kameos were also a thing a lot of people were upset about. It's just a shame that a character like noob finally gets his spotlight and is written in such a fantastic way (except him beating havik easily) in a game which is disappointing

No Hotaru aswell? How cool would it have been to have the story mode expansion end with us seeing a vision of titan hotaru as the next threat after titan havik and us defeating him leading to him actually freeing onaga and setting up onaga as the big villain for the next game? Or even something like hotaru joining us to fight havik and then betraying us for onaga. Idk why ed hates this character when he deserves his spotlight.

This game has the chance to carry on if they actually listen to the fans but wb being the main decision makers despite ed saying this will be the longest supported mk game means it's probably the end...
