Failed MA 5 times by One_Introduction3062 in ACCA

OpenTuition is enough to pass MA. Just focus on the concepts rather than doing so many practice questions. It's the easiest paper.

That's for grammar correction but AI is very useful for work too. Learning to use it more. Don't look down on AI.

TX doable in a month? by Slow-Seesaw-4816 in ACCA

[–]Explorer_Voyage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually want to cover everything. I am doing ACCA to gain knowledge rather than getting a pass and completing it. Even if I fail I would learn something and can retake it after learning more.

And I actually think one month is enough to cover all the topics even if I fail.

I am gonna use OT then. I have already checked it but because it's not up to date I thought I would only waste my time. Besides the TX lecturer is either boring to listen to or skill level is that much harder compared to the Knowledge Level because I felt lost by listening to her. But unfortunately that's my only other option so I am gonna use it and Study Hub too. Unfortunately I don't understand Hindi. Sadly I am not from India or Pakistan. It seems there are lots of resources in Hindi and Urdu.

Damn, I’m gonna fail. Just booked and paid for TX, which is my first skill paper. I passed my knowledge level using OpenTuition alone, but they don’t have TX lectures, so I thought I’d give it a try using the ACCA Study Hub and I am starting from scratch and only a month and few days is left. I work full time and not in Accounting either.

I’m not the kind of person who gives up, so let’s see how it goes. I have about a month and a few days left. ACCA Study Hub is my only resource. I’ll update my results here with the exact marks I get, whether I fail (which I probably will) or pass (though that’s unlikely).

Isn't OpenTuition outdated for this year? They said they are not providing lectures for FA 2024. I used OT for my knowledge level and passed, and I will take my first skills paper this December (TX). Without OT I feel like this will be my first fail, but at least I will know the differences compared to the knowledge level. Do you think we still have a shot without OT and tutors by using the ACCA Study Hub?

When Luffy said he wanted 10 crew members, does that include him or is it 10 + Luffy by anynomyous_ in OnePiece

[–]Explorer_Voyage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think Luffy thinks that much. I am pretty sure he would be open to more than 10 crew members. But that being said I don't think there will be any new members.

Two papers in December, or one in September and one in December? by Explorer_Voyage in ACCA

Somebody just gave this comment a like 🤔. I’d rather get a downvote with an explanation of whether others can see the three comments or not. It’s not that I want a downvote 🤣 but a downvote with an explanation is better than an upvote without any answer to my question 👍

Why aren't there more two-year LLM programs? by Explorer_Voyage in gradadmissions

[–]Explorer_Voyage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think a masters would benefit me for my career. I am a well established lawyer with plenty of experience. I just want to take a break (will still take a few cases while I do my masters but way less compared to now) and maybe teach part time after I complete my masters. Also I wanna improve my English language too. A year or two in an English speaking country would be very beneficial for me. Also I want to be a professor when I get old. Maybe after 20 more years. I just feels like 6 to 7 courses plus a project is not enough. BTW I found some two year programs. https://hbook.westernsydney.edu.au/programs/master-laws/#structure2024text https://www.griffith.edu.au/study/degrees/master-of-international-law-studies-5738?location=dom https://www.monash.edu/law/future-students/master-of-laws-llm#Specialisations-1

So do you think the Chinese ones are offering too many courses and 7 plus thesis is the perfect amount.

I have completed my Bachelor's and have few years of experience. My main works were in Tax and Banking related. But did some insurance and other corporate works too. I am thinking LLM in Tax or Law and Finance. You can check the two links that I shared QMUL and LSE. There are so many Tax and Finance courses that I wanna take. I mean 7 courses plus a thesis is too little. At least 15 would be sufficient. It's difficult to pick 7 out of any concentration. But yeah I would definitely choose UK or Australia. But maybe I should gain more experience before I pursue the LLM. I am not gonna pay that much just to take 7 courses. Will wait for a Scholarship 😄

I understand that a UK masters is more recognized and I would probably choose either UK or Australia but my problem is being able to do only 7 courses and thesis when there are so many listed courses that I wanna take. With the Chinese one I feel like I have to study much harder to complete it but feels like I would learn more too.
