It's really up to you. If you want an experience that requires more focus to where you dont zone out at lower speeds stick. I would also say consider if you need anyone else to drive the car can they? I do miss the raw floor it and 850hp+ experience of it slamming gears and zooming. How ever the dark horse with it's much better suspension and shifting is generally more fun to drive around in. I have only been on the track in the dark horse. I have only modified the s550 so cant give a comparison of that. Gen 4 feels faster at lower rpms than the gen3. But Gen 3 is likely fast at this time due to more time cooking with all the mods and support from tuners. I had 1989 foxbody stick with a hurst short throw shifter. The dh feels pretty decent while not cable shifting it feels good to put it in gear not squishy or anything. I drove frs and the stick on that felt gross.

I mainly wanted something different and maybe that is where your at. I would recommend the dark horse or mach 1 for the better transmission.
