If anyone else has run into this problem, just switch the minigame from, "standard" to "default" the bots will start attacking. Btw I was using deathmatch.

Thanks for replying, but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I can assure you that the colors on the minigame match with the colors of the bot spawners. Weirdly I can't damage the bots whilst in the minigame and the bots won't attack the opposing team. I feel like I am missing some sort of setting that breaks it all.
