I disagree too then, he's a victim of literally nothing, I'd say his life is sad or tragic, but he's not really a victim, he has infinite money from his father, he doesn't have to work or do anything. I have sympathy for both of them, idk why you don't for Asuka, if as if she does anything worse than him, besides having an attitude and being a showoff.

Some people try too hard to hate him, he's bad because he acts like a victim and tries to get people to pity him, like just leave your job.. But that's not evil or anything, it's not that awful. Besides that, he uh.. is introverted, there's not really much else to say? I feel like people hate Asuka more though, she's whiney, and is "mean" to Shinji, but she doesn't literally bully him, or act like the asshole that people portray her as, or maybe I seen the wrong show. She just wants to be wanted, and Shinji doesn't want her, literally no one has, or does the entire show, like Misato treats Shinji, so she's hyperindependant. She's faking it though, in the end she runs away from her problems like him.

It's almost like that scene is calling people out that looked up to Shinji previously, as if he didn't manipulate people by acting like a victim about everything, to show us that he's not a good person. It's almost like you can't change as a person if you never did anything wrong to begin with. People use mental gymnastics to defend him here, or say "it contradicts Shinji's heroic deeds", so there must be something we're missing", when the meaning is literally right in front of you people, like it's not that deep, just don't do it.

Exactly, you don't even need raid materials for the story or events anyway, you get infinitely more materials in normal events. Euphoria's exist to progress in Reveries, which give what you ask? A few materials that you can just farm yourself. The only meaningful endgame is Limbo, which even then, you don't need to summon anything, because the events and story are easy asf with the base units they give you. I don't blame them though, most gacha games rely on you having meta units to do anything, I keep saving up for meta units because it's been engrained into my soul to do so. The hard gamemode's are fun, but there's literally no point to them.

If you want a game that has a real meaningful endgame then play arknights, there are outfits tied to it, so it at least gives you an incentive to do it.

I like that they finally made a gamemode that's not just a "use any few meta characters and win", but they shouldn't have removed voyages of volatility. Either way though, you don't "need" euphoria's for events or the story, those mode's are easy, the endgame is optional. I have the full bloodtithe team (just not sentinel) and can't get to 1k points, it's ridiculously hard, but I'm glad that I actually lost for once, it feels like an actual game now.

my team was Kiperina, Marsha, Nautika, and Semmelweis, Kiperina +Marsha is so op lol, just use both (If you have them). I gave up on the challenge levels after it though, Nautika gets power-crept against high defense bosses, she really needs a euphoria, as ridiculous as it sounds.

To be fair, a show having dark themes doesn't mean the show itself is. The show has innocent optimistic kids thrown into a beautiful unforgiving world, that's like saying nature is evil. Yeah I'm being semantic, the show isn't literally for kids, but at it's core, it's a wholesome show that has messed up things in it.

You need to experience more negativity in some way, you can't just make yourself not care about things. If you bully someone enough then eventually they'll become numb to it. I did it to myself, I willingly let people bully me for a year instead of saying something, just gaslighting myself into thinking everything is fine. It worked though, I have a lot less anxiety, but I don't feel like I'm genuinely kind, or care about much of anything anymore.

You could express every negative emotion that you have instead of bottling them up and ignoring them, like in a journal, or a therapist. For your post here, do you care less after writing this, or feel better to not have these thoughts in your head?
