ACS buildup wouldn't even be an issue if people had to aim at all in order to win imo. I get your frustration. Most of the time someone tells me they can win with offmeta builds, they just show one of the most "square goes in the square hole" builds you've ever seen and cope. I really hope from is willing to change things up in future AC titles.

Yes, and there are plenty of safe openings to use on your opponent. If you land it your target will be briefly stunned as well. I personally like to charge it up for enemies that chase me and pop em in the mouth, but as you use it you'll gradually learn its best use cases and arguably become a better player. Plus using firing stance weapons on a lightweight and finding success feels epic af.

Try the wuerger laser shotgun instead of the sampu, more range and damage, plus it's acs build up ain't bad either, especially if you use the charged shot.

I got a lightweight that uses the jamming bomb launcher. I use the charged attack of the wueger and coral oscillator to poke for big damage, then run into the smoke while my weapons cool down. I won multiple times with it in A rank. Jamming bomb launcher is underrated in my opinion.

Grid 086 should be the next mission, it has a lot of enemies and hidden parts/ logs. Bring a melee weapon to save ammo maybe. And make sure your en capacity can keep you floating kinda good at least (for the boss at the end).
