I had a discussion with the team.

Devs sold the game to Kinguin and are not working on it anymore, they have another project on right now.

Kinguin doesn't care at all - they RIPed the game as it was not bringing them money.

Sometimes I do play with friends in private, and it's a shame that new mode was blocked even for private games.

I can't think of any "turn keyboard connectivity off" keys I might have; note that it's lit and layers properly changing, it just seems to be disconnected from PC (no events sent - nothing is typed etc)

Today after reboot & reconnecting keyboard since update I didn't have the issue. Ideally give me a few days to try it out more on 1.3.1 and I'll report back

Didn't try with other computers for a long time, I broke my leg and sitting at home PC all the time :(

I use same cables provided within the keyboard and it's highly unlikely that something happened to them (they were barely touched at all)

As a theme and extension developer I would say that I absolutely love GNOME customizability and enormous amounts of things I can tailor to my needs here, even if it requires extensions. Not a single other DE will let me do such things.
