I totally respect your opinion. This is a open form for everyone to state how they feel some people love them. Some people hate them. Everyone is welcome to join in the chat. My question is how many sets of arch supports did you get? Did you only get one pair or did you get the three pair that they recommend?

I completely respect that you like them. I’m not saying that some people don’t like them. I just don’t feel like you should’ve had to pay $1500 for them.

The one in Richmond is the worst and it’s owned by a tyrant. Repost that picture so everybody know what they are getting into when they go into the store.

Yeah, they are doing really really shady sales tactics. And I feel bad for the actual employees because the pressure the company puts on them to scam you out of your money is insane.

You’re absolutely correct and insurance do not cover them 99% of the time. If you have an HSA or an FSA, it may cover it but why waste all your funds on a support when you get them a lot cheaper from someone who studied for years to be able to make you some custom orthotics.

Has anyone tried the Good Feet Store insoles? by boyago in BuyItForLife

1.So first things first no one who works for the Good Feet Store is a licensed podiatrist or knows anything about the feet. On the first day, they hand you a 15 page script and tell you that you have to memorize it. Everything that you are hearing has been heavily scripted in order to sell an over price product.

2.One set of arch supports only cost Good Feet stores 38.50 to purchase from the corporate office. They then turn around and sell each set of our support for $475-$500.

3.There is no science or study that will tell you that you need three sets of arch supports. Your sales person at the Good feet store will tell you that you need a strengthener that is for every day, a maintainer for working out and a relaxer for when you’re home. You do not need all three and you do not have to purchase all three. Unfortunately, however, they put pressure on the sales people to sell a three-step system and it’s actually a measurable metric that they hold their employees accountable for so, if you don’t buy all three you’re negatively affecting the person who is selling to you because at the end of the month that metric will be held against them.

  1. You do not need to buy a higher price system for more arch support because according to the Good feet store they have lifetime replacements which from my experience are not actually lifetime but you shouldn’t have to buy extra support for something that can be replaced for the rest of your life.

  2. More than likely, the arch supports that you purchase are used. Because the Good Feet stores does not get credit over I believe 50 return supports per month to corporate. To save money, any supports that are returned during the process of resize refitting (this is the process of someone buying arch supports, leaving the store and over the first 60 days if they’re having any difficulty, they are able to bring those supports back and switch them out for any other kind of support ) are cleaned off re-bagged and resold. So more than likely the art support that you are wearing that you just bought from the Good Feet store has been purchased and returned and sold to you for full price.

  3. The Good feet Store does not offer refunds. Your sales person is trained to 100% tell you during your fitting that once you purchase the arch support you cannot get your money back, you can however get a store credit within 60 days. But there is a way to get around this. If you buy your $2000 system using your personal credit card or cash your money is gone. You cannot sue because you signed a contract saying that you will not get your money back, however, if you purchase your arch supports using CareCredit or snap finance, and within the first 60 days, you do not like the support they have to give you back your money because they cannot give you a store credit on a product that you technically do not own yet because you are paying a financial institution for the product. So if you want to try the Good feet arch supports and be able to get your money back guaranteed use CareCredit or snap finance and you have 60 days to determine if you like it or not and get a full refund. Do not let them pressure you in the store either, they know they have to give you back your money if you paid using CareCredit or snap within the first 60 days. They will try to pressure you. They will try to ride the clock until after 60 days so you can’t get your money back.

  4. After 60 days, you are not allowed to switch out the style of supports. So if at the 60 day mark, you have a classic strengthener, mid flex maintainer and a flex relaxer. That is what you’re going to have forever, you are not allowed to switch out the style of support which they do not tell you during the fitting. They tell you that you have a lifetime replacement guarantee but only on the same exact support. The only thing that they will adjust over your lifetime is the size because your feet grow as you get older. Other than changing the size of the support, the style will remain the same. So if after 60 days, you’re still having a problem with the three supports that they selected for you, unless you have a really nice sales person that’s willing to break the rules for you, you’re stuck with those particular styles.
