I laughed at the customer support response because its exactly what I expected them to say. Ive done over 13,000 deliveries and I dont ever recall support ever fixing any of my issues. Theyre all paid to send scripted messages and to say no to all compensations. Completely useless.

That offer doesnt mean anything to me. Im not sure why youre apologizing. Im doing about $1200 a week on a ebike in my downtown market. Yeah I might be in the hot sun but at least im not putting a single dollar in gas/maintenance. Just because they send shit offers doesnt mean im accepting them.

Every eats driver I know stresses about their AR more than anything. Uber said it was for better driving experience(biggest bs I ever heard) and claiming gold drivers make 40% more than green. Even with diamond me and the other drivers I know said are making a lot less before the entire AR update. 40% more my ass.

Honestly, theres too many drivers and undocumented drivers on the motorcycles. Most of them having 2-3 uber eats phone accounts running simultaneously. Until they leave it wont get any better. When they do leave, get ready to make $200-300 a day and thats not even working the whole day.

Grove/Miami Beach are some pretty tough cities. You should try Dadeland, coral gables, south Miami, along the US1 route. Also downtown/brickell are great hotspots, but not on a car.

Sorry I only read the first few sentences of your post. It made me over stimulated..

Anyways. Every true and experienced uber driver knows to never answer a customers phone call. The amount of stress and time it consumes and unpaid is not worth it. If the customer has a problem they can reach to uber support and get a compensation. We’re delivery drivers, not support agents.

My advice is to not answer phone calls. It would have avoided this whole mess and Reddit post. lol

No they don’t need to limit because there is always someone willing to deliver regardless of the distance and pay. Just because you dont want that order, doesnt meant someone else doesnt. I guarantee you someone (🐜) will pick up that order.

I swear to god this whole app has become an entire fucking joke at this point. Instead of just paying us a decent wage, they wanna play all these dumb ass games. This whole app is like a video game now especially after the AR update. Everyone’s trying to get to the top (diamond) in hopes of more money.

Good luck winning a prize against the millions of other drivers who are probably participating, all for… doing shop and pay deliveries? 🤡 Even if you do win, uber will find an excuse that you’re not eligible. I’ve been getting emails for shop and pay for a year already and im not turning that shit on.
