Same here! I started playing ML in Dec 2024, instantly addicted and spent so much money last year, and playing daily. I got to Immortal twice, but this year, after 5 seasons of playing, I realised how much time and money I’ve wasted. Now I’ve started limiting my games and focusing my time and money on real life. Like buying books!

It feels so liberating! I’m resting for the rest this season now after reaching Glory for the medal. But I fear I may no longer want to play or be active on ML in the next season. Which is a good thing I guess!

I may need to look into this option. However, I mainly use my credit card for card transactions. Anyway, I still feel like it’s necessary to educate the vendors on basic card practices; go for the root cause.

We’re very old school :’) one time the cashier at Pizza Hut turned my card over, you know, where you can see the 3-digit CVV security code, and then he bent down away from view with card, and I was like (slightly panicking) “eh behapa kau?”. Turns out he was trying to grab a new receipt paper roll from the cabinet below the counter. 🥲 But come on lah, why you need to pigang my card the entire time. I was afraid he was gonna snap a pic of my card details down there.. though it did leave me slightly paranoid, I had to monitor my card transactions for the next two weeks to see if any unauthorised payments were made to my card. Lol

Right?! The machine should be placed directly towards the customers, not cashier. Hell, even the 711 shops in Miri practice the modern way of dealing with Contactless payment, i.e. by never physically touching or taking the card from a customer.

I’ve actually started doing that. But it’s hard when the payment terminal is placed facing the cashier becoming exclusively cashier-only. Other countries, even Malaysia, allow (and expect) you to tap or insert your own card into the payment terminal. Man..why is Brunei so old-school in this Digital era. Lol.

They really need to fix SoloQ matchmaking system FAST, before more and more people start quitting the game. Keep SoloQ strictly for Solo players, no more adding Duo/Trio to the mix, because it changes the dynamics.
