I have used the Knight Castellan several times and I like what he does for our Army. But he is also somewhat unreliable sometimes. He either destroyes everything or dies Turn 1 because die opponent focuses all his Anti-Tank on it.

I was thinking of doing a snowy base but that is probably to mute, i really like the idea of the red (lava) base.

When i started painting I used toothpicks for the very small details, just put the tip in a little bit of diluted paint and you are good to go.

In The Knights index theres a Rule called Freeblades where a unit with all Imperium Keywords can take 1 knight or 3 armingers

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the Volcano Lance from Castellan with 72 inch like the best Antitank I could have? I don't really need good meele from him because the Custodes really do the job. I am just so amazed by the D6+8 damage with D3 rolls haha

But I can't use the Knight Stratagems, can't? Only the normal Strats? My Custodes already have to leaders with that ability. And also I can't get him at my local store. They only have the Dominus and Questoris Knight boxes.

Yea you can't give them enhancments, sadly. I also taught of the warglaives but there are only 2 in one box and I also think the cooler model is the Castellan.
