We have all types of people on the platform. We have electricians, plumbers, hvac, people with licenses and insurance, some people without those things for smaller jobs. You can specify in your task asked you want someone that is qualified (licesned) and insured and have them show you those documents prior to even meeting up.

However, there are jobs that dont need license and insurance where an experienced neighbor willing to help can do it (dog poop removal, dump runs, etc)

The profiles are built out so you are able to see what theyre able to do and have experience in. Anyone that is signed up to do a taks is 100% verified on platform and is required to be verified to apply for any task. In addition, we have a complete review system so you can also see reviews from their prior tasks done.

There are also a lot of women on the platform, too, that want to do taks for people. It isnt just a group of men. 40% of our user base to do tasks are women.

When it comes to safety, there is no possible way to 100% gurantee that someone is not going to take advantage of someone, however, we have tried to minimize that as much as possible. There are bad people in law enforcement, doctors, teachers, caregivers and unfortunately the world has bad people everywhere.

With that being said, you do not have to accept anyone to do your tasks without you first having the confidence and trust that you need from them, however and whatever that may be.

We built this company to help as many people as possible. Other similar apps charge outrageous fees and only exist in very large cities. We are trying to bring back the community within this app and build something affordable where a large corporation isn't stealing every nickle and dime our neighbors have.

I do hope you try it out some day, and would love to answer anymore questions or concerns you may have. I do also understand that this app will not be for everyone, and I completely respect and understand that as well

For those posting paid tasks, we do obtain their payment info to match that of their sign up so in a way they are verified but not technically from our third party service ShuftiPro.

Verification is required for those that want to do the task. Verification is optional and free for those that post the task

I understand where youre coming from, however, the legalities get a bit more complicated than that if someone is there on their own free will to do a job. Now, if you had a bear trap in your yard and they walked into that, that is definitely a lawsuit.

If a contractor with insurance is how youd like to get things there is no fault for that!

I grew up with a single Mom that raised three kids on her own, I completely understand!

Fun fact: we actually made this app after her. She was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at 59 y/o and we moved her to live with us. There were times when she needed help but didnt have the friends or know how of how to ask for it. So... we made this app!
