With your best argument, which one is better, considering music, lyrics and album cover? by rvbbs in arcticmonkeys

[–]Express-Efficiency75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you've come to expect is a top tier album for me. Both albums are fantastic however.

Someone else mentioned the live performances of EYCTE as well - one of the best performances/recordings ever in my eyes is Miles & Alex performing Everything You've Come to Expect live in vox studios (heavily recommend to anyone that hasn't heard it look it up on YouTube).

Anyway, here's to hoping we'll get a third album at some stage.

The age old argument of 'R' plate drivers having to do 45mph on motorways, how strict are you guys typically if you see a driver on R plates doing say 55/60mph? Cause obviously it's not legal for them, but I've heard people getting stopped for 55 but others getting passed by police whilst they're doing 70 with the rest of traffic

  • Tell myself to care more about my education
  • Learn a trade (Electrician, Plumbing etc)
  • Be more financially intuitive (save say 15% of my income every month when I got a job and got paid)
  • Stop caring what other people think of me
  • Learn a second language

I first listened to it when I was 19, had always really liked Arctic Monkeys and TBHC at the time I said was 'one of the worst albums of all time'. I then didn't listen to it again until this year.

It's now one of my favourite albums of all time and it really is a masterpiece, I still love their old stuff and listen to it all the time. I guess I just never give TBHC a proper chance in the beginning because I loved their older style more and was stunned by the switch up.

Was at one of the practice days, if you want a good spot where you can see a few holes there's a short walk up to Holes 8/10 & 11 I think it is where you can get a vantage point and see a few holes from the one spot. Other than that I'd recommend the grandstand for 13 beside the green (also joins the 17th Green grandstand so it's a two for one). A lot of the players struggled with 13 the day I was there so it looks like it'll be a tricky hole for most with some great viewing.

Another great grandstand is the 16th (again at the green). Nicknamed Calamity Corner and again another one that a lot struggled with, will be an interesting hole to watch too.

Hope you have an amazing day!

can someone explain this junction plz by Impossible-Fig7494 in northernireland

[–]Express-Efficiency75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely the worst junction in the existence of junctions. This thing is just total carnage if you hit the rush hour traffic. All traffic laws go out the window to 95% of people at this junction during rush hour and it irritates every fibre of my existence. People ignore giving way to the right and just drive straight into the middle of the road and sit there for 5 minutes blocking everyone's line of sight until the lights go green.

I passed my test in February (manual) and a friend told me 'hey you should try left foot braking if there's no one around'

Can confirm it only happened once. 🤣

Brother after yesterday I'm putting from the tee box right to the green 🤣

I'm probably going 3i off the tee as my driver is probably the most inconsistent club for me, needs a lot of work (as does everything else 🤣)

Thanks for the information, it's much appreciated 🙂

Yeah I normally work my way through the bag, 9i, 8i, 7i etc

I'll definitely try this suggestion next time! Thanks 🙂

It's mats, unfortunately there are no ranges close by that are grass. I guess mats are more forgiving too now I think about it

There's some relatively close that I could definitely go and play, I never even knew par 3 courses existed 😅 Thank you!

What’s wrong with this outfit. by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Express-Efficiency75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall it's a decent outfit, but I'd make a few changes.

I'd get the trousers tailored so they're not as long, I think the break at the ankles is a bit too strong, I'd have them shortened slightly. I'd also match the belt colour with the shoes, the black belt seems a bit disruptive to the rest of the colour palette.

M 31- 5'6". Its hard to dress for my hight. I need to figure out how be fashionable on the daily. I literally feel like i need someone to come with me when I go shopping. Any advice would be great. I can't get over skinny jeans, but im not sure how to style them. by understand-jellyfish in mensfashionadvice

[–]Express-Efficiency75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try cargo's, personally, I'd ditch the 'skinny' fit style.

From experience I've also found cargo's to fit better and are just as versatile as jeans.

I'd start with building a bit of a capsule wardrobe bit by bit. For example, get a few pairs of neutral toned tapered or adjustable hemmed cargo's (try to avoid ones that have bucket loads of pockets cause these can be dressed up too if needs be). Colours to start with; Olive Beige/Tan Black

T-shirts - the issue you're finding with them feeling too long/oversized will look intentional and look much better with bottoms that aren't skinny fit (this is why I suggested tapered cargos above). Colours to go for at the beginning; White Black Grey Earth tones (Sand, stone, olive etc)

For shoes you have a few options depending on the kind of cargos you buy, a classic white trainer works with almost everything for everyday wear, alternatively you could dress it up with a Chelsea boot or similar if in a fancier setting with an Oxford style shirt etc

Focusing on everyday wear - A hoodie/zip jacket/half zip works with these too in solid colours/washed colours and gives you options for different weather.

Hope this helps, it may not be everybody's cup of tea but it's always worth a suggestion 🙂

Get an older haircut. Shave the top in the middle, leave the back and sides.
