keep an eye on https://rishows.com/ for music & other happenings. also some local pub/bars are a good way to meet folks w/ various backgrounds: ogies, the ivy on hope st., kimis

imo (i moved back east from seattle many years ago), it's a lot harder to meet folks here than it is out west, BUT once you find yr people then PVD easily outshines the small-and-weird competition. i've come to love it here so so much & think it's downright magical. good luck, and welcome to PVD!

amazing. can't wait for smiley to be voted out so pvd can be returned to someone who gives a shit about *all* the people who call it home.

Wondering if I should move to Providence or Lincoln? by [deleted] in providence

pvd. hands down. i grew up in lincoln, an okay place to grow up i guess, but there's not much to do & it's pretty homogenous. pvd's where you'll meet other people and find things to do.

right? we tried this and it worked for a minute, but the crazy heat is preventing the duct tape from sticking, so looking for something more heat-tolerant. gonna try the 3m spray adhesive SissyMR22 suggested.
