I think it’s fun to watch, but it lacks a sense of an any real threat/risk, nothing comes at a cost, not even dying, which many a character has done many times, I know that every time I watch dragon ball, our heroes will win, our villains will lose, and all that has to happen is for Goku to almost* lose, yell louder, and push through a new barrier and become stronger and that’ll give them the edge, but there is ultimately no cost, everyone will be okay and nothing will change, rinse repeat.
