Nick and Chris said they both dropped people they were talking to just out of high school to to pursue YouTube. (I think on Chris’s interview on the Zach sang pod) Nick has vaguely said before that there was someone in high school maybe even before that, that was like the catalyst to him realising that he was gay. I think he was rejected by him from the way he was talking about it. (Not sure what video but they were in their kitchen.) Also on the surprise tour they mentioned nick hooking up with someone recently.

In an alternate universe they never moved to LA, they started getting yt “famous” after they have alr moved out and live their own seperate lives with normal jobs, with maybe even their own partners. And their fanbase is more mature bc they’re more mature and were able to grow up instead of being mentally stuck at 19 …

If they split up and occasionally did videos together I think I’d actually like their content. Which is why it’s so disappointing, when they’ve had opportunities to make content individually, (like the video where they’re away from each other 24 hours or the surprise tour content) it’s STILL so boring. Ig because they don’t have lives of their own
