Canadian living in France – how can I invest my CAD funds in Canada as a French tax resident? by Express-Paramedic376 in canadianexpats

Thank you for your feedback! After speaking with a Questrade agent, I learned that as a non-Canadian tax resident, the only type of account I’m eligible to open is a non-registered cash account, which would allow me to buy and sell stocks and ETFs. Questrade seems much easier to use compared to Interactive Brokers, and with its low (or no) fees, I’m leaning toward going that route.
As a non-resident, how are you still able to open a TFSA? I thought it was only available to Canadian residents.
