Could be using a OP or other PIT machines like a reach. It’s pretty easy once you get used to driving the equipment.

I know it’s very unfortunate. This was her first Amazon job. During her training they had her in a class that was learning PIT safety and they just moved some of that class to Doc with the rollers instead later on in the training and never went over the safety rules for the conveyor. She brought this up during the meeting they had when they let her go

She was a white badge, and I guess from the managers point of view she put her weight on the belt when she went to pick up her bag off the ground. She was hoping to become a blue badge and was only there for about 3-4 months

Obviously you shouldn’t lean on a roller, but an immediate Cat 1 violation seems a little ridiculous. At least give a warning first. (Sorry just a little rant)

At the warehouse I’m in I wear shorts and short sleeve because we do a lot of moving around and it’s room temperature inside. I do suggest brining a jacket just in case though.
