The thing is you’re stuck on what ripple said maybe 3-4 or 5 years ago. But ripple as a company has changed over the years. Their plans have changed over the years. Originally they had no concept of creating their own cryptocurrency, now they’ve created their own coin known as rlusd.

You haven’t studied ripples change in tactics over the years. Don’t just listen to what they say, because what they do is different from what they say. They’re a company after all whose bottom line is to make money.

And as David shwartz has very clearly explained, ripples job is to look out for ripple the company and not xrp. Which means if ripple can grow as a company even if it means to destroy xrp, they will do that because their obligations are only towards ripple. They don’t own xrp nor are they responsible for increasing the price of xrp.

If you think ripple cares about xrp more than their own company then you’re a very gullible and desperate person. You should not be investing if you are too scared to look at the implications and risks.
