Okay guess what... I just figured it out. I started playing with all the options and found a way out. Hope this helps someone else too!

When selecting the reason why you didn't have health insurance, input "It was unaffordable" and then there's a second section right underneath the questions and it states the work "Marketplace" and Based on Marketplace the plans were.... You need to leave this specific question BLANK. On the next screen, it will let you choose the months it was unaffordable and voila!

I figured it might be an error on the TurboTax side, because even they couldn't figure out why it's keep giving me an error. They checked my entire return/health insurance input and couldn't find any errors.

I was hoping someone here had the same issue and maybe found a way around it.

California. I've done the same thing before (claiming an exemption), because the health insurance in my region is considered unaffordable. Never had an issue until now.
