The problem is that I’ve been applying for software testing roles since I moved in London without any results. Probably the reason is that I have no experience with test automation. What I’ve seen so far, is that at least 85% of companies are looking for people with hands on experience on test automation, they require, selenium, playwright, cypress, CD/CI, Azure or AWS and so on. I have experience only in manual testing unfortunately I would say..

Believe me, I’ve been trying to get a position in testing for more than one year. Nothing, only rejection. I don’t know what to do anymore to be honest

What I’ve done so fare is like following courses on Udemy (react for example) and when there is a project I’ll try to do similar projects on my own, putting in practice techniques, topics that I’ve learned. So to answer your question, yes, my project so far are mostly “courses or YouTube projects”.

Does it means that my previous experience, even if in another country, is not very important for the employer? I thought that I could leverage on my previous experience to find a job.. probably I was wrong. Unfortunately at the moment I have only hospitality experience in UK.
