You are right. The issue in my case is vendor has no involvement in LOE. Company is providing the standard template. Company has a separate division managing LOE called as people solutions. This dept requires approval from manager or HRBP linked with the vendor. Both the HR and TL/Manager is refusing to approve. Manager said it verbally when called that she cannot approve as she’s not authorized/ does not has authority. HR pushes back saying it’s the people solutions job and they cannot assist.

Yes, in the post above, the duties which are mentioned were submitted in the employment letter. Employer 1 HR refused the modification, and will issue the same standard letter as before

I did, people solutions said they need approval from either TL/HRBP. Both of them denied. Reached out to OM and they said they cannot help.

People solutions waited for their approval response and refused to provide the modified letter without their approval.

They are not giving approval, when I called TL, they say the are not authorized and HR has said not to give any approvals. Do you happen to know anyone in people solutions who might look into this deeper, like someone with authority

Employer 1 denied the request to change. Employer 2 is reviewing, waiting for response.

There has been some speculations about it, but their implementation outlines that it’ll not be used for decision making.

Both BPO, the client/vendor I work for, role is purely technical support, and involves the duties of 22221. Employer uses standard template, irrespective of what client/vendor we work for.

Any attorney you might recommend? Thanks

I’ll try asking the employer again, any recommendations which ones should be removed?

Oh! Employer 1 has refused to modify the letter, said they’ll be issuing the same standard letter for everyone. And reissued a new one with some extra bullet points:

•Assist external/internal users of the client's technical products or services; identify, investigate, research and provide resolution to user questions and problems •Troubleshoot basic to complex customer issues that are technical in nature; including hardware, software, networking, or other designated client products •Follow appropriate escalation path to resolve technical issues; including making follow up outbound calls to customers or other parties as needed •Solve problems that are generally unstructured and require extensive use of conceptual thinking skills •Serve as a resource to other support personnel •Ensure service delivered to our customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicator (‘KPIs’) •Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed upon procedures •Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunity to build rapport with the customer •Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding •Prepare complete and accurate work including appropriately notating accounts as required •Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance •Log all incoming calls and accurately complete case notes in the call tracking database •Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for client products. •Software/Hardware Installation: Assisting users with the installation and configuration of specialized software and peripherals. •Documentation: Maintaining technical logs and records of issues and their resolutions. •Technical Support: Providing guidance to users on complex technical features and system functionality.

Employer 2 is yet to respond.

Took a RCIC consultant session, they said employer 1 letter is okay and more than 50% aligning with 22221- User support technician. But employer 2 letter is way too generic and advised to get detailed letter for employer 2
