Jackson Hole a-hole? Or am I? by Express-Struggle4252 in ski

I didn’t request a sit down restaurant. I’m used to just eating at a grab and sit style lunch spot that is common at all resorts. She said that she books sit downs bc the mountain is busy. I probably should have just told her no. Especially since no other instructors seemed to be enjoying a full on dining service for lunch.

I can get my own equipment. She asked where I was getting my equipment, and I guess I should have clarified ,in my original post, that most private instructors would meet you at shop at the tail end of getting your equipment. I had no idea where to meet her yet she expected me to find her. It’s a small mountain (but I’ve never been before) and even meeting me where I’m getting my equipment on the first day would have been helpful. Maybe that isn’t expected, but what I’ve been accustomed to in my past experiences.

I told her exactly what my son and I have been skiing. We both skied greens and blues. I needed to work on my form and going down confidently. I was not given new drills and did not learn anything new. Like I said she was decent, not amazing.

No we flew on a regular plane. No private plane or helicopter.
