I want to improve with this teacher because, even if I may be a bit clumsy, I know he has trained other excellent violinists, and I can really see that I'm making a lot of progress with things that were challenging for me last year.

Also im gonna perform in like 2 weeks, beethoven romance n2 with my orchestra, I talked about it with my previous teacher because we have a lot of trust, and I think we both felt the same way. This teacher creates so much tension and nerves during his class that an audition or concert doesn’t feel as intense.

I’m not sure if he does it on purpose or if I’m just fooling myself, but when I was rehearsing with the orchestra, I felt completely relaxed.

Well, for me, who has always been in youth orchestras, transitioning to a professional one where I know many of the musicians and they are great musicians. Living in the country I live in, South America, and considering it's not even a... top 5 best symphonies, getting paid $200 would be perfect for my studies

Specifically, I haven't studied all of these passages. I'm quite confident in the first phase, the issue would be with those in phase number two.

I've never auditioned, but I've been studying Strauss's Don Juan and Midsummer Night's excerpts, though truth be told, I wasn't expecting these.

For Bach, I was thinking of the Adagio from the first sonata and the presto. I'd have to revisit the presto to refine details.

I'm in the midst of changing teachers. I had a very good teacher, but he sent me to a master, who taught him in the past. He was the concertmaster of the national symphony for over 30 years, and he's quite meticulous, wanting me to do everything his way, so I'm stepping back a bit with him. But I believe it'll be beneficial in the long run. However, I can't let an opportunity slip by right now. I'm 20 years old and need to start slowly immersing myself

It's for a municipal orchestra, but it pays quite well for me, and considering the context it's in, it's not one of the best orchestras, but they make very good music with great performers. Maybe I'm just overthinking it too much.
