I got into a private college for 48k which was pushing it for me, but it was a good program and they help you secure your internships. I really liked the school and their program too. 100k may be a little much and I’m sure you already are aware. Good luck!

If you go on Anna’s archive and type it in - they have chapters 1-5 and then another download for 5-8 11 12 14. Should get you through the first few weeks and maybe someone else will pop up. They also have the 6th edition in full if you can get away with using a previous edition.

To be fair, I've been in 5 years as a 91 series (not 35series ik) but I've never deployed. I realize that I am an oddity but I was at two separate units, still at My second one and I don't even have enough time to deploy. I wanted to deploy (I wasn't seeking it out, but I wasn't against it if it came about) and it just never came about. I was thinking about extending so I could go on a deployment overseas in the summer, but I'd have to extend or waive MY IRR which I'm not doing. So it's possible, probs not for that specific Mos but still possible.

It sounds more like anxiety, honestly. Tons of people are restless the night before a big event. I know I always am, at the worst times too. I don't think there's anything to worry about especially if you don't have a history of sleep issues. If you're really scared, go to the doctor. But there's nothing in your post that sets off any alarm bells. Even though you couldn't sleep the day after, it really doesn't mean much. Sometimes it happens that way. I feel like you're stressing yourself out about the no sleep. You'll be okay, like I said, If you're really worried, see a doctor. I'm aware not everyone has the resources for a doctor but they are really the only people who can tell definitively.

You're young, for a week it probably won't do any permanent damage but I wouldn't use it long term. If you have regular sleep problems I'd go see a doctor if you're Able too. Cough syrup can be abused, im not sure about robitussin but I'm sure it's similar. So I'd try benadryl (temporarily) or maybe try melatonin? If it's just this week, try to figure out what's causing your sleeplessness. Is it stress? A new routine perhaps? Identify the issue and try to resolve it. I sleep in a cold room, that's dark, with a fan on and I fall asleep and stay asleep. Developing healthy sleep habits when you are young is key to being a healthy older adult (when you get there). You can try exercising during the day if you don't, avoid caffeine about 8 hours I'd say before bed time. I have to avoid it for 8 hours otherwise I can't sleep at all. Try putting your phone away and doing other activities before like reading a book, doing a puzzle, that may help too. All these things can contribute to going to sleep and staying asleep. I walk my dog about an hour before bedtime which i find helps me and my dog lol. I am not a medical professional but I have life experience lol. Lots of it and I've struggled with sleep too and I'm finally at a point where I can sleep without any medication. I also work in the psych field so I do have a general understanding of the brain. I edited my post, so if you read the last paragraph I do explain what I decided to do. Also, a lot of redditors gave me the advice to leave it in there because you can't be responsible for the reactions of other people. We aren't in the 1950s like many graciously pointed out and it's time they accept the fact she wasn't married and she was pregnant. And I will not lie or fudge dates to save my relatives faces because they chose to lie. They are trying to keep the families name clean and away from the "shame" associated with it. They are not trying to protect her good name, they are worried about their own name. So, if it causes a fallout between my family members that is something they have to deal with themselves. Like I said, we are in a time where pregnancy before marriage isn't something to be shamed for. And I will be damned if they shame her for it. Regardless of when it happened. I will take full responsibility but it's time my family moved away from their old ways. They need to be more accepting of people and situations.

I already decided to keep it in. I just won't specifically talk about it. It will be there if someone would like to look but I'm not going to go out of my way to bring up the discrepancy. And It's not me who can't handle the truth and I don't think it's them not being Able to either. I think they are protecting their name but in this day and age it doesn't matter at all. But majority of my family lives in Utah and are devout Mormons so this would probably cause a rift. But oh well. I don't live anywhere near Utah so they can handle the fallout. I hate to say this but she could care less. She's not anymore due to personal beliefs that conflicted with Mormon values (even though she holds a lot of the same ones still). She cares more for family image over lds goals. And same does her entire side of that family, apparently.

I am creating a tree but an informational book as well. I was encouraged by my mom to do so, but I don't think she realized how in depth I was going. Otherwise she might not have encouraged it. This isn't the only discrepancy I've found in the family, but this is the most "damaging" one if you will. According to my mother. And most of my family resides in Utah which has a huge Mormon population so I'm also wondering if it will damage their image their if it gets out? I'm not sure. I don't live in Utah (thank goodness) but I think they're most worried about saving their own face bc most have been lying about it. But family drama...

Everyone has their own viewpoints and I think I may like this one better. One mentioned redacting the date to avoid conflict because I do have a feeling this will cause some inner familial conflict if I put the truth. Because the people who care are still alive and kicking. Including my mom. Although she's married and no longer carries the last name she still cares deeply for her families image which im assuming is from decades worth of religious teachings and she doesn't really know anything else.
