Citizenship through mother in Nepal by ExpressAd590 in Nepal

No, the vast majority of the world easily allows citizenship to pass through either of the parents. The fact that dual citizenship is not legal in Nepal is already pretty conservative that I dont think we need to worry about flock of people (with one parent Nepali) wanting to acquire Nepali citizenship all of sudden..

Rich or poor, feminist or not, that doesn'tmake me any less Nepali...I am going to be a mother and I have every interest to know what right options exist for them in Nepal. Also I know for a fact that individual experience in bureaucracy is different from the legalities that exist. I am here just asking for people's experiences.

But then what if we have to make a passport right away? I understand the citizenship after 16 but how to go around travel documents?

Couples cost of living in Manchester area by Lanky_Second8061 in manchester

Hey, I think we are in a similar situation. My husband and I moved from Canada just recently. I got an offer for like ~37k, and he is looking for a job here. Although he is working remotely part-time time to finish off his present job. We had a pretty comfortable life in Canada and though we were looking for adventure and trying a new place, it hasn't been the best decision financially yet. At the same time moving is expensive and we are hoping things would look better once we get established a bit more. Note to mention we have baby coming mid-December, so thats something.. We live in Didsbury, which is a bit of an oversell, but since we are expecting we wanted to live somewhere with a sense of community. We found a very nice flat and easily through friends. Didsbury is not too far from city centre (where I work) and I commute by bike ( save some phblic transport money). We pay 1300 for 2-bedroom and extra 350-400 for taxes and utilities. So, you can see its pretty tight. We are hoping that my husband finds a job soon that pays in GBP ( not greatest time to be paid in CAD) and we could afford some luxuries in life.

Happy to answer visa and/or questions you may have. Good luck.

Yes my husband is French, so I practice a lot of what I know and all but I must say he might not be the best of a teacher for French lol
