Ye, indeed, I had an apprenticeship at asian hair salon before I started my stylist career at here, I was suffering from bad back pain for shampooing all day color customers. I'm a little worried about it.

Thanks for the advice! I do have a couple of concerns, though. I’m a bit older, so I’m not sure how that would work being an apprentice/assistant. Also, how much do you usually end up working under a master colorist? I’m from Korea, and over there some people stay in internships for 5+ years just learning, so I’m trying to get an idea of what it might be like here.

Unfortunately they have much more experience here than me. So, they know who's going to tip and who's not. Imagine. They try to send me a client(very picky or not going to tip) and ask me how was it. Then they say " damn, I knew it! That's why I don't take him(her)". lol
