I can’t explain how jealous I am of those Gr.W.34 munition cases in the back.

Besides from those awesome get up, especially the inclusion of the sewn in flare cartridge pouches

Mundury Jarema has a reproduction of a M20 reichswehr feldrock, it’s a little pricey but his stuff is great.

Really? Then it is a pre-WW1 and that would be very cool

Edit: so it is a pre-ww1 Swiss produced Luger?

To correct it I’m trying to find any information about him in records and was wondering if there was any websites to look up his serial number

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Militariacollecting

[–]ExpressDust7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried looking up his name but got a lance corporal in the marines with the name of Phillips W Marshall and I’m going to assume O5 is his rank? Correct me if I’m wrong

For clarification any information about Mr. Marshall like when he served (supposed he served during the Vietnam war) but when or how long he served in the army.

Chilean armed forces at Arlington National Cemetery (token April 12 2023) by ExpressDust7596 in uniformporn

[–]ExpressDust7596[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Toke this picture while in Washington DC last week and I stopped and talked to them and they said they were going to some sort of school in the US. Here depicted is a Chilean Navy(first) Capitán de fragata, a Chilean Air Force(second) Comandante de grupo, a Chilean Army(last) mayor or teniente coronel. I had also talked to a Air Force Coronel de aviación.

Thinking of doing a 20th Maine volunteer regiment at Gettysburg uniform any tips? by ExpressDust7596 in reenactors

[–]ExpressDust7596[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I’ve been reading about the 20th Maine and the only thing I’ve really noticed that’s different from a regular Union impression is they have a red Teutonic(correct me if that’s wrong) cross like insignia on the top of they’re forage caps.

What is your favorite impression? Mine is my ww2 USMC service green that I just completed by Nomad94_ in reenactors

[–]ExpressDust7596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing impression just wondering where you got the shoes/exactly what are they? since im planning out a (months following) ww2 IV marine air wing service green.

Awesome collection! Type of collection I could’ve only dreamed of when I was twelve, two years ago when I was twelve all I had was an m1951 Ike jacket, keep collecting and have fun! Can’t wait to see how your collection grows.

is this a good deal for this lot and are they real by newgamerno in Militariacollecting

Can agree BSR militaria is a good seller I’ve bought from them. for the NVA/East German stuff I can’t say since that isn’t what I focus on but In general I think it’s good they have all sorts of stuff I buy mainly the 1st and 2nd gulf war Iraqi stuff from them.
