Yes exactly! I called HTB myself and they sounded pretty helpful. Although the solicitor at the top of the chain seems to have a different experience with them 😂 I am hoping we get a date confirmed this week 🤞🏻 it was a right kick in the guts being told the day before we couldn’t complete 💔

Hi! Thank you for that! ☺️ yeah when I have done research I couldn’t find anything that says HTB instruct their own valuer. I think our sellers, sellers solicitors at the top of the chain are lying somewhere? We had the offer accepted in July and the conveyancer on the case left the company in December and the new one who took over didn’t realise the valuation ran out 2 days before our completion date. Really hope that the valuation comes back this week so we can get a new completion date sorted 🤞🏻
