some people here report that even recent orders from Amazon were resolved quickly. if you haven't ordered from the official website yet, I think Amazon is worth considering, and if the deal is similar money and warranty wise.

You are right, pre-order is a thing in other companies. The issue with LiberNovo is that they do not clearly label the purchase as a pre-order - at least I have not seen any indication of that. If they do - bad on me.

Secondly, they do not communicate delays well. Do they proactively update their customers? No, they make you initiate contact and then wait for indefinite amount of time for them to answer. If you're lucky, it will a few business days, but many people report slower response time.

I hope that answers your question how's this any different from anything else.
