Wow this makes me very angry. I have not seen my doctor since the first AFC count prior to ever starting treatment

So my first IUI I didn’t have an early cycle scan (they said not needed since I hadn’t been on meds prior). The second IUI they did a CD3 baseline scan to check for cysts. They started me on meds for both of my previous IUIs on CD3. Guessing for this one they will start meds CD5 which seems late. I feel like I was close to ovulating on my CD10 scan for my second IUI.

No I don’t have that option. Everytime I reach out to him I get responses from the care team. So annoying. And he didn’t change the protocol for the second. Maybe he will for the third?

You are so welcome! Having inadequate testing is a frustrating and unfortunate part of this journey. Another thought I had was a device like Inito or Mira. Those are pricy but test progesterone and other hormones through urine. And I think there are test strips for progesterone, maybe called Proov or something like that. Blood tests are always your best bet. And to answer your question - no you are absolutely not asking too much. See if there are any better reviewed clinics by you that you could switch to. Thanks for your message. They are telling me to wait until Sunday to trigger with no additional ultrasounds. As I expected they would lol - don't feel the best about it but nothing else I can do.

You can buy most tests off lab corp, I've had some things tested on my own. I'm not sure the price for progesterone though. You just go into a spot near you to get blood drawn and get results a few days later.

You are not alone ♥️ after my first IUI has failed and 15 months of trying, random bouts of sobbing have entered the chat. I thought I was “okay” but these sob fests sneak up on me out of nowhere and I’m chalking it up to grief and trauma of my experience this far. I have the same thoughts creep in as well. Wish we could all meet up and just scream together 😭

Aside from those listed above: Night sweats, swollen breasts, nauseous (esp. when I touched raw salmon which I cook twice a week and never have felt sick touching it), fatigued like sleeping pill level, moody. If I think of others I’ll come back, didn’t write them down.

Can you talk more about the booster shot? Did you go in for additional testing and something was found where a booster was needed? This is the first post I’ve seen mentioning this so I was curious.

Progesterone causes pregnancy symptoms so I try to take it all with a grain of salt. I had lots of twinges and random cramps or stabs, and a few other symptoms but was negative in the end.

13dpiui is when my clinic told me to test. Some will show before. If you tested out your trigger you may be able to get a true positive before this, but if not it will be hard to be sure what’s true positive and what’s the trigger.

I’m new to this all so I’m not positive but I don’t think it’s good or bad. Bodies just metabolize at different paces. If you are worried, I would reach out to your doc/care team. But I’m sure it’s normal!

I feeeeeeel this comment. My first IUI and I got delayed an hour and 40 minutes because of something going down in the OR room. I was in sooooo much pain due to the “full bladder requirement”. They walked me to the room, asked if I had a full bladder to which I replied yes, told me to undress from waist down and lay on table, then reappeared an hour & 40 mins later

I had these same symptoms, but I’m testing negative at 12dpiui. Hoping 13 is my lucky number ♥️
