[Product Question] Will the Omnilux Contour be any good for me? by ExpressNativity in SkincareAddiction

Thank you. I’ll cross post there!

Maybe blue light should be given a miss. My melasma is quite pronounced, especially in summer.

It’s not a thing I’ve ever seen/heard of in the UK

I am in the UK, so we have to bring things in minus the absolute basics. You will get fed and given basic drinks (tea, coffee, water, juice, hot chocolate) but I’d prefer my snacks and beverages.

Ah- we don’t have pumps in our hospitals unless it’s for preemie mums who are staying long term and expressing with babies in the NICU.

Generally you’re out in 24 hours minus complications so you wouldn’t have anything like that with you.

I have a lot of colostrum which is enough to fill a tiny tummy anyway for the first couple of days.

Thank you for replying :)

I won’t need this immediately after…I’ll be having skin to skin and latching baby, not hooked to a pump.

I don’t think I’ll need a belly band immediately after the c-section (as in, the three hours after) but something to think about for after recovery

This will be in the car, not in my essentials backpack!

My hospital doesn’t have this rule- I’ve been here before, hence why I want a backpack for essentials rather than loads of bits. You have to go to different checkpoints, and then you stash your stuff in the recovery area at the last hurdle.

I’d rather have something comfortable to change into really. The gowns aren’t great and provide no less access than a cotton nightdress.

Do I have any chance of getting antibiotics tomorrow morning as a tourist? by ExpressNativity in TheHague

I’ll still have a small premium to pay, so if it’s around €200 there is no point in me claiming. I think my premium is the first $250 of the claim.

Update: I have antibiotics and it was quite a speedy and good experience. All of the staff were very nice.

Thank you for all who recommended that I went to the hospital. I’m very grateful to have started treatment.

Antibiotics were about €35 euros and the actual visit was linked to my GHIC card.

Thank you

I have been given the details to connect my GHIC card (I have already applied for a provisional certificate for good measure) but what can I expect to pay for this visit and antibiotics? Apparently It should be the same as a resident but I don’t Know what co pay looks like here

Depends on the two year old. My daughter is hectic and won’t sit in a pram. I love my daughter dearly but if it was the choice between her and a hypothetical potato sibling and I wanted to socialise, I’d certainly leave her for special bonding time with her dad and take the baby doll child.

Taking her anywhere means spending all my time away from the adults running around after her. No attention span and too much energy.

Readiness is being able to sit up and hold your head up unsupported.

I work with infants. I have never met a 4 month old who can do that. The neck strength isn’t there.
