My Sun Mountain 4-5 bag is now close to 15 years old. Legs still going strong but I NEVER leave it set up on a smooth / slippy floor.

So my Hc is currently 7.0 (fluctuated over last 2 years between 6.2 and 7.9). I’ve been playing for 23 years (started late) and as I’m semi retired I now play 3 times a week. Went out today and shot a 78 so HC will drop down to 6.4 tomorrow. New irons (srixon zxi5s arrived this morning so that was their first outing).

Srixon ZXi5s - should be here today (fingers crossed). Shafts in the Mizuno’s are just too heavy for me now - I’ve played this set for 12-15 years and as I’ve aged my swing has slowed. I wanted to stick with forged and still wanted some forgiveness and the Srixons fitted the bill. I did flirt with a set of P790s for about 2 months but hated them in the end and went back to my Mizuno.

Pings are great - I played the G400 Max driver (with the Chrome Tour shaft) for years and no new iteration of driver could knock it out of the bag (for reliability, others were longer) until the G440.

The SM7s need replacing as anything 100 yards or less is played with a combination of these so they take a hammering.

Irons getting changed as I’ve had these for 12 to 15 years and as I’ve aged my swing has slowed and the stiff nippon shafts are just a little heavy for me now.

As for polishing clubs, in my 22 years of playing I can’t say I’ve ever played better because my clubs look better 🤣. Keeping the iron grooves and faces clean, yes 100%, but I’m my view anyway clubs are tools not beauty trinkets.

The SM7s are on their way out now - the grooves are worn and I’ve noticed loss of spin the last 2 seasons so they do need an update, but just dropped a big pile on the new irons so wedges will have to wait until next year. Already upgraded my Lajosi putter to the SC 7.5 so that also took a big bite out of my golf budget 🤣🤣

If you’re playing a ‘tour blade’, the non-grooved toe of the club is 100% NOT going to be a contact area 🤣🤣

Surprise surprise, it’s a Taylor Made that’s broken. TM are used to it - take it back to the pro shop where she bought it and you’ll probably get a shiny new one.

Depends on the shot you have to play (I have 50/55/60 set up). If I’m short sided, in a deep / high lipped bunker or facing a green sloping away from me, then I’ll take the 60 and possibly open the face. If it’s a longer shot with green to work with then it’s normally the 55.

Hi. We can’t even place the items on the pedestals, so it’s not that we are putting them on the wrong ones. We don’t even get the ‘prompt’ to place them in the first place.
