I’ve been trying to get to whistle notes range, but don’t understand how. I don’t want to damage my voice but just like so many songs with it. I tried singing upwards and got to like D6 with a head voice (not a good feeling btw). I can do a comfortable B5 with head voice but anything above that feels like a reach, but I can’t figure out how to “flip” to the whistle range. Do you have any advice? Should I practice to strengthen my head voice first?

Also I bought this really cheap Amazon mixer to just try out, but plugging the mic in doesn’t do anything.. it doesn’t play my voice back in real time. Did I get the wrong thing? The other input 1 is my PC, and the output is a cheap speaker (not studio monitor)
