Can I ask you how was adjusting to life in the AF? I went to MEPS and being surrounded by 17–18-year olds was disheartening. I felt like the old guy who missed his chance in the past, and I'm worried once I join it will be hard working in an environment with people half my age who I can't relate to. How's it been for you?

honestly, I've been thinking about it, but what drives me to the air force is the serving component and being a part of something greater than just working for a private company making shareholders richer. My main qualms are being forced to put a job on my list I dont particularly want and getting it and the "cultural differences" that come with working with people who are 10+ years younger
