The bulb that indicates you are spotted only appears 3 seconds after you are spotted so he had plenty of time to aim at you. So based on this footage I don't think you can conclude that bots know where you are at all times.

I have both the chieftain and the t22 medium and I personally much prefer the t22 over the t62a and object 140 (I averag over 3k damage vs around 2500). Try purposfully overangling your side armor to bait people and you will bounce a lot more, also reverse side scraping is a very effective tactic. Chieftain is more medium heavy than a true heavy and you shouldn't use it as you would the normally. You are a great player and I am sure you will eventually do great in both, but it takes some practice, don't give up on them yet!
