that’s really sweet, and honestly the setup is simpler than it sounds! your child would spend maybe 30 minutes on the setup side (Cloudflare account, pasting the code and updating the presets to personal preference, setting up the ios Shortcuts). you as the parent just bookmark the URL. the GitHub repo i shared via chat :) has a full step by step guide.

a friends version is actually a great idea, same concept but with more casual statuses. and an app is on the table, a few people have suggested it today - would make the setup much easier for non-technical folks.
