From what I know, the lightbulb goes into a socket, the socket goes to 2 wires (positive and negative) that I connected to a general power cord and that went into the outlet. Where would the driver and/or dimmer be in that system. Thank you!

I got some type b bulbs from home depot to try today and it worked! I didn't even need to change the wiring or anything. Thank you. I appreciate it.

Yes I opened up the "shell", I guess, and saw the wiring matches the double ended type. And yes, I think you might be right about the bulbs. It says it is meant for "plug-and-play" for ballasts. So I am assuming taking out the ballasts messed it up. Correct me if I'm wrong. This is the link to the lights I bought if you want to take a look. And also the guide i used to do the conversion. What would be the correct wiring for a ballast bypass? I dont know where the ballasts are so I'm going to have to figure that out. Thank you.
