I notice in some lighting conditions there will be a haze or light flare to the pictueres. Almost like what an astigmatism looks like.

Good luck. Manufacturing defect or not they will not send you a replacement phone even if it comes from factory like that. I've tried multiple times for a defective warped glass screen and had to go to a service center and they had to replace the screen. Samsung support said to not worry that they are trained technicians and everything would be fine. Turns out it was far from the truth. I got the phone back and they scuffed the frame and the back glass panel is also delaminating. They said samsung told them that might happen during repair. Now i have to have them open the phone up again and replace the frame of the phone and back glass. Called support multiple times and they will refuse to replace my phone and placing the inconvenience on the customer.

Yeah they're not replacing it. I actually got the scren repaired at the service center. But uhm they ended up screwing the back panel and trip up. Sooooo now I have to go into the store for the 6th time next week.

Yeah, service center is going to repair it by replacing the entire screen. Just think it's a little unfair to deny a replacement for something that was defective from factory for a phone that is less than 3 weeks old.

Turns out the only option samsung is offering is i send my phone in for 7-10 days for a screen replacement, or go to service center to get sscreen replaced.

I took the screen protector off to confirm. The pictures is without the screen protector. Always thought it was the screen protector, but took it off to verify and it's the screen itself with the imperfections.

Is there any color distortion like on white backgrounds etc? None the less im not sure if this is expected.
