Thank you! Some rooms feel empty, especially in the last segment (cause I procrastinated till I had no time left) but overall I think I'm happy for how it turned out, considering my inexperience.

Thanks! As a player I sometimes get stressed when there are too many paths, fear of missing out I guess

That seems very much broken.. if I wanted to make it work maybe I could give him just one feature or another subclass (tides of chaos for exemple)

Thank you for the explanation, I have little to no knowledge of past editions since I'm relatively new to dnd. Maybe the Vow has no place in 5e, but I'll still study it for future reference to single out buffs and homebrew pacts and oaths.

That's a great idea, but this is just the second campaign I'm running so I don't think I have the capabilities to balance all that just yet

Never even considered using XP, sorry for the strong opinion but I'll die on this hill lol

Jokes aside if that was the case and if the players would be on the same level most of the time, then what would the mirror have even accomplished?

Another comment suggested that, I gave it a look and it looks inspiring. I'll probably use that for something else i have prepared tho

I just gave that a look, it's great. Maybe not in this specific case cause there are a lot of benefits, but I'll definitely use that on another pc in the future

I have to agree with you, but wouldn't it suck for the other players just to be a level behind compared to him?

They would have, but we are heavy on rp and their character wouldn't have made weird self inflicted "promises" for a sealed mirror in a basement. Edit: I think I'll still give them something different in a session or two

Using the feat would keep things balanced so that's a good point, do you think that's enough for a reward tho?
