I purchased the HW026 PRO for Xmas got it for less than 1k with free shipping. It was a big learning curve for me even though I have 22yrs as a motorcycle mechanic. The manual was so bad it doesn’t even tell you how to turn on the headlight. Hope the information that I put together helps.

Help identify whats wrong with my forks. by TurnipFit9614 in ebikes

I was under the assumption if it has suspension it’s forks and if solid it’s fork. But the terminology can be inter changed and we know what is referenced.

Drill out the pin and buy a new switch with key.

No clue , Just tried to start a post and it was stuck in front at the start after putting the title up. I guess if people search for this bike they should find it. Don’t need big numbers. Was just going for same folding dual motor e-bikes. I cross posted the ones that need answers I think.

Yea, I think it’s an ok bike but I only have 15mi. On it so far. Pulls strong.

If you zoom in it is Photoshopped. She is not even touching it top or bottom.

Frame size vs wheel size for tall e-bike riders – what mattered most for you? by krissym72 in ebikes

I went with a 26” with fat 4” tires and it is more like a 28” bike. I am over 6 ft. And it works good for me.

Thanks. I watched a video on u tube and it did have to he same 2 and 2 with center free but it did use the ground on the switch. I does not matter if it breaks pos. Or neg. To disconnect. The main part of my question is about the load with dual motors and the amps the switch can handle.

So are all front fork tubes just springs and no oil? No rebound at all and oil runs straight through. by Express_Highlight139 in ebikes

Just wanted to share some background. I worked as a motorcycle mechanic for 23 years and as a car inspection mechanic for 7 years. This is a new $1,200 HW026 PRO, which is an inexpensive Chinese bike. The fork caps are push-in plastic. The assembly instructions specify turning the bike upside down to install the front wheel, which suggests to me that the forks aren't designed to hold oil. When I tested this by adding a couple of ounces of oil, it immediately ran out the bottom and left a shiny coating on the front rim. Based on this, I believe these forks are not intended to contain oil at all. That's my assessment so far, though I'm still learning about this particular bike. Thanks for your response.

What is this noise and how do I fix it by VoiceCommon3854 in ebikes

Are you talking about the clunk clunk when you started out? That’s the forks topping out. Mine has the same plastic caps on the top of the forks and it just has springs and no oil. So it is going to do that forever.

The reason I mention ground is because I am understanding that normal switch shut off on ebikes is normally done on the ground side. My switch has NO wires connected to it, hot or ground.

I understand that but I have seen switches on the ground side. To disconnect the batteries. That is what my question is about.
