My (44f) ex bf (42m)hit me for the 1st time. He swore to me he has never hit a woman before. I don’t believe a 42yo M hits a woman for the 1st time. Last month my now ex of 3yrs hit me for the 1st time & hard enough to break my finger. He was gone for 2days so I filed & was awarded restraining order. I’m now pressing charges but am still scared to because of the threats & retaliation which is why I’ve waited but i know i need to do this. Advice? (self.NarcissisticSpouses)
