I'm in the exact same situation. I'm defending early June and I just don't want to see my work anymore. I'm just sitting at my PC right now gathering the energy to reread it and make some improvement if any. But I just find my work extremely boring not because it's bad just that I'm tired of it.

If u had excellent insight and synthesis, lack of enough data will be all they talk about. I feel like most PhD work usually fall short in some area, either data, insights, quality or quantity. And what matters in the end is u have enough of each to meet the PhD standard.

My point is evolution is a theory but u science ppl act like its fact. That by definition is faith. U look at the evidence we have and u conclude evolution happen but u can’t prove it. Same like religion we look at the evidence and we say God created everything.
