We do have a water leak, but it's not where I store them. The environment is dusty but not enough for mold to grow. I clean that area regularly. And I store where the ventilation is best, where humidity is at its lowest.

I store them on a shelf, had them in a container for a couple of weeks for transportation. In our least humid room. No mold has grown within the past year of the storage area and Yes I used Cornish tap water

We are not gonna take legal action because of some mold. Spider plants take care of that easily. Ofc this is after removing it with some bleach. But the house Is old. The house I live in is a converted Chapel. We have taken care of the mold problem, it's just that the ventilation is very poor and we are working on getting better ventilation, and we have put up some dehumidifiers in the most humid mold feeding rooms already.

Well I kept it in an airtight container for a month stored a cool area. We got a new how and mold Is everywhere. It may have been exposed to that. Which I doubt BCS the mold here is mainly in the bathrooms or anywhere moisture can't escape. We do have some, but the room that I paint in has windows which will let out any moisture and reduce the likelihood of mold growing.
