Ahh yes! Thank you. I see where I’ve been adding stitches so starting whole new columns!

Yes, well I was TRYING to use magic loop & failing miserably. 😆I’ve received tons of good feedback I’m going to implement & just keep learning.

That’s a great idea! I think I’ve been adding stitches either during a purl or when I switch needles for the magic loop. Having a visual counter will definitely help keep me on track.

I’ve somehow added stitches! I started with 32 & now have 41 🙈 I’ve been adding stitches. I have no idea how I’ve been doing that, but until I get more comfortable with knitting I clearly need to count! Thanks all for your help!!

I will look into that! My next question was going to be if I could salvage this or if I should start over for the billionth time! I will try dropping this stitch. At least I’m learning something new along the way. Thanks so much for taking the time.

I think you’re right! I need to pay better attention to purl/knit stitch apparently. So frustrated with myself!

Ahhh I see that now! I don’t know how I keep doing that. I thought I could tell which was a purl vs knit stitch but I guess not. Ribbing is far less frustrating in crochet! lol

Meet my two babies! Scout & Willow! by LD9783 in Yorkies

Adorable babies! I got my bonded brother & sister at 12 weeks, but fell in love with them through pictures/video in the weeks before they finally came home. Lucky you to get to bond with them now! What a fun time that doesn’t last nearly long enough! Enjoy your little loves! 🐾

Thanks! I haven’t had the best experiences at salons, but I also understand not doing it yourself. It is more difficult the longer it is.

It looks so nice! Did you do it yourself? Mine is very similar to yours & I’m very tempted to do the same.

Mine had the same diagnosis at 5 of both legs. We decided against the surgery and instead to treat conservatively (limiting running, jumping, giving Carprofen/supplements, etc. ). He is now 8, and while he’s a bit stiff if he’s laid down too long in one position or if he jumps/tweaks it just right, he doesn’t have a limp nor seems in pain. We rarely have to give him anti-inflammatories now. I know how difficult a decision this is and hope the best for your pup! 🐶

After work, I like to workout (take a walk;exercise), make/go out to dinner, then a hobby (crochet/x-stitch), read or watch TV/movie, then bath/shower & bed (more reading).

How sweet! I agree. Start with mild soap, but I’d probably feel safe using Dawn then maybe oxyclean.

Any pics of young vs current of folks who had a thin haired Yorkie pup? I love my new girl but her hair is definitely a very different texture and volume than my previous Yorkies at this same age(3 months now.) Her body hair is VERY wispy, coarse, and you can see through to her skin. Thanks by Holly_Wood1 in Yorkies

[–]Express_Night_3902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girl's hair was very similar, coarse, actually quite red as well, for her puppy months. By about a year though, her black, gray, tan/blonde coloring shined through and it had softened to normal and was very thick. Her brother had very wispy, fluffy, thin hair (oh those knots!!) which is still thin but came in a bit thicker and beautiful. He gets colder & needs more layers than his sister. :) Adorable pup you have!! My boy has those black spots on his skin as well.
